I have tried several versions of WPS readers and this is the first that has worked properly! Very pleased with this purchase.

work with most .wps files but not all.

I like the way this works. How would I get files out of Carbonite into this program on the Mac AIr. Maybe somone knows. Thanks TB

I just switched over to using a Mac after 25+ years as a loyal Windows PC user. Over that quarter decade, I have accumulated around ~800 Microsoft Works documents mostly from my work. I use this little program to open those documents when needed, and copy them over to Microsoft Word for Mac to save in DOC format. Its very easy to use, and keeps most (not all) of the original formatting and layout. I love the drag and drop feature; very useful. I highly recommend it if you need a way to open your Microsoft Works files on Mac.

Although this app opened most of my files it did not keep any of the settings such a font and others I had and also would NOT open the files I needed the most which was my address labels!

This application is not working properly. I waste my money for not working program!

I tried many extensions and no extension. I lost a little money and a lot of precious time that I didnt have to spare. Anyone who buys this program is also wasting time and money. Oh yes, the program has no help on it and neither Apple nor Solvusoft has any help on their sites. Good luck if you buy it, but dont say I didnt tell you about it. As I now turn down to "Submit" I notice that "if a reveiw is deemed inappropriate, it will not be posted to the App Store." That may explain why it has high ratings!

On vacation with my new mac book pro, we were using microsoft works as a supplimental invoice program, So we had a thumb drive with files on it. Cient called and needed some rewording for insurance claims. no problem. insert thumb drive but could not open works files, so to the app store… After down loading the $9.99 program, tried to open .xlr file we get message of file not supported. A microsoft file xlr extension not supported? The only purpose of this program is to open a .xlr file and you cant do that. Please return my money, your program did not do what you stated it would do. Plain and simple. Marcello D
